Our OEM-certified, in-house engineering capabilities allow our expert designs to stretch the limits of a pickup truck chassis, offering the ability to add equipment racks, enhanced monitoring, onboard power, satellite and cellular reachback, and onboard tethered drones that can detached while in flight and flow free-style for search and rescue.

Available in multiple platform configurations including variable drivetrains, engine fuels, bed length, and towing capacity, Mobile Tactical Drone Operations are also capable of supporting masts up to 42′ or antennas up to 1.8m while maintaining a super low profile. AMT’s Mobile Tactical Drone Operations are perfect for first responder applications with unmatched stability, durability, and performance.

Tethered Drone System:

The largest and most capable tethered drone system ever implemented in a vehicle, our state-of-the-art, Mil-Spec Drone system supports multiple brands of aircraft from quad to hex-copter and is designed to support the critical needs of mobile command units, fire support vehicles, and armored personnel carriers. The system supports BOTH free-flight and automatic recharging with autonomous precision landing and a 400’ tether to provide constant power and communication for longer periods. Tethered operation can be separated while in flight to allow the aircraft to fly free. The system will recoil the tether via a parachute and rapidly stow it. Tethered Drone System

The largest and most capable tethered drone system ever implemented in a vehicle, our state-of-the-art, Mil-Spec Drone system supports multiple brands of aircraft. The system supports BOTH free-flight and automatic recharging with autonomous precision landing and a 400’ tether. Tethered operation can be separated while in flight to allow the aircraft to fly free. Deployable Display Monitors

(Exterior workstation)

Deployable high NIT rear monitors allow exterior workstations for drone monitoring and video display. Rated for full sunlight and integrated directly into the platform, the monitors can also be articulated around the vehicle for the best presentation angle.

Custom Bed Caps

Each of our Drone Operation platforms are fitted with a bed height cap custom made for our application. This allows a structural attachment and the automated drone launch case to be recessed into the roof for low clearance. Our signature tubular roof deck custom-fabricated by our master craftsmen rounds out the design and provides a mounting surface for lighting and antennas.

4-Wheel Drive

All of our popular pick-up truck chassis options are (or can become) 4-wheel drive. Snow, ice, rocks, and other potentially dangerous driving conditions become easily manageable with 4WD. Simply a must for first responder vehicles, pick-up truck platforms with 4WD benefit from improved traction and control.

Drone Operations

Command Vehicles are equipped with multiple monitors to act as Drone Pilot Stations, multiviewers for drone streams, and outside video — all monitored inside the platform. Storage shelving options are as limitless and unique as your station’s requirements. Shelving can be adapted to house large screens for pull-out display (screen size only limited by your vehicle model and modifications), boxes for safe equipment storage, and flat-bed sliders for bulkier equipment transportation.

Interior LED Lighting

Interior modifications are almost endless, but the difference is in the details. Extensive use of premium LED Lighting on the interior and exterior of the platform not only illuminates the work area but does it with less power draw to provide the maximum usable power from the inverter systems for critical equipment.

With a power output of 3.0 – 8.0kW, AMT uses a Magnum or Victron Inverter System in all of our vehicles. Paired with AMT’s exclusive MVP-E™ Lithium LiFePO4 Battery Systems, that means up to 10 hours of power — even with the vehicle turned off! 

This innovative power system, named the MVP-E™ Power System, employs a 12-28V Mil-Spec high amp alternator, one-four 12V Mil Spec LiFePO4 Lithium batteries, a PREMIUM critical Inverter/charger and a real time battery management/LCD control/monitoring system which displays power load and capacity data and provides all day power WITH HVAC — without the engine running!
