Having been widely deployed in AMT’s Vision Series SUV Platforms, the revolutionary power system is ready to take center stage in California with FULL-SIZE green-powered news vans. KNBC/KVEA’s 1200Ah Tri-Lithium MVP-E™ drive system supplies power to electronics and HVAC. Charging from shore power, engine power, solar power, or public charging station ports, the new system (which allows local and remote access to the batteries for performance monitoring) has returned over 50% in fuel costs and over 60% in reduced preventive maintenance in our control study vehicles.
The MVP-E™ System allows KNBC/KVEA to power their story using hybrid battery cells onsite while using conventional fuel to arrive at the site (no matter the conditions or distance). For extended events, starting the engine will power the truck and recharge the batteries in a pinch, meeting green energy efforts with mission-critical power requirements.
