QATV’s NewsRunner platform is a 14′ Modular Truck — bridging the gap between Sprinter-based van platforms and full-size modular trucks, NewRunners are low-profile with a fully-modular construction that can be remounted onto a new chassis.
The new truck is a cooperative effort between AMT and our friends at Little Bay Broadcasting, who maintain the Quincy TV Studio facilities. The platform is headed to stage 2 of its manufacturing and will be system integrated by Little Bay Broadcasting.
The E450-based truck is maximized for interior space for up to 4 operators and powered by a 7K Onan Generator. We’ve specially engineered this one to provide very flexible power and HVAC systems — our design allows it to either run on a single 50 amp cord or automatically share the load on three separate 20 amp shore cords.
This engineering design allows QATV’s 14′ Modular Truck maximum flexibility for whatever venue the truck covers.
